As most Artists I am truly my worst critic...I am going allow you into my mind a second...I am constantly criticizing my work...The PERFECTIONIST that I am is constantly haunting me...This is why I get SOOO happy when I can see the pictures from a wedding so soon,,,As I have taken myself through the ringer until that moment...Really I am that crazy...So given that I met a wonderful photographer this weekend on Saturdays wedding,,,Charleton Churchill...and Yes that is his real name...He was so excited to photograph in our very own Paradise...Yosemite National Park...he is from the other side of the park and that is why I had yet to meet him...

I had never met Alicia until I walked through the door at the Foresta Home her father had rented. In fact I hardly spoke to her and only exchanged a few emails over the course of a year...Alicia was a very Low maintenance Bride to say the least...When I walked in the entire Male section of the family was there to greet me offering to carry bags throwing out suggestions of where I should be working...A typical Man thing...None the less... They were all very nice and very Italian something I am quite at home with...Now back to Alicia she was as sweet as she is pretty...Just a wonderful women. Sarah and Josh June 11th,2011

I first met with Sarah and Josh on a very busy Saturday sometime in April to do a trial run as Sarah has very thin hair and is quite a Natural Gal...Josh was very patient, as soon as I was finished, he pulled out his camera and started shooting his soon to be bride...Both Sarah and Josh were very pleased with the outcome. They loved the fact that Sarah's Natural beauty was not over made but enhanced...As Josh admired his bride to be, I could see their sweet love and knew they would be a joy to work with.

June came fast...I arrived early, to the Presidential Suite, to start the beauty enhancing for Sarah her mother and a few others...Sarah and Josh were definitely excited and just finishing their breakfast...As I was just about complete the process, Patrick Pike arrived to shoot final preparations and whisk the couple off for the 1st look...

January 8th Monte Verde Inn with Maggie!

January 7^th I was off to Sacramento for a meeting with a few brides and a wedding at the wonderful Monte Verde Inn located in Forest Hill for those who don’t know where that is it is a bit North of Placerville! A beautiful old Victorian B and B with an enclosed porch. Those who know my love of Vintage home know I was in heaven!! Maggie my beautiful red head bride chose a very classic look with a vintage flair! She is absolutely beautiful! Her mother was also great fun to work with when we were done she was ecstatic and could not believe how beautiful she looked she told me I should have done a before and after shots. She also loved how I enhanced her lovely daughter Maggie with out making her look overdone! The photographer was Tate @ Dream imagery. Tate did an amazing job on photos!

January 2^nd I was back at it but this time I had the pleasure of going to Sierra Meadows a beautiful golf club located in Ahwahnee. My bride Elissha was also very beautiful! As was her friend,sister in law and maid of honor Andrea . The girls were very easy to work with! They love make up and girly stuff . I love the bridal room @ Sierra Meadows always a great place to work with ample lighting and mirrors! Elissha chose a fabulous dress and a beautiful hair style. She left the make up to me with just one request of a more natural look! I love brides who allow me a bit of creativity and Elissha did just that!. Her photographer was Scott Andrews whom I met last year @ Sheetal and Rinkal’s wedding in Lodi! I love Scotts work and I was Very excited to get the pictures which I took Directly from his blog scottandrewsblog

2010 wedding season started in full force so quickly I have neglected my blogging. So here we are January weddings were amazing with Beautiful venues and Beautiful Brides. My first bride of the year was on January 1st,2010 Ann @ Tenaya Lodge a beautiful day with snowed a few days before which made the grounds picture perfect . Ann is a very sweet girl to work with. Her classic beauty made my job quite easy! Anns wedding party was just as fun and sweet as Ann. The Photographer was Vans Photography .

Many times as an artist I feel the need to get all my thoughts and ideas out! Well how do I do it? I have found my outlet with my art!!!! A few months back I called a few gracious models ( Ashley, Stephanie, and Melanie) who took the day off from their day job to help create a beautiful canvas for myself and a few photographers I have worked with. Wow did the photographers and models really express my heart. Here are a few shots that I have from the shoot. I will post a few more as I get them! The photographers who shot the following are Carrie from Carrie Lynne Photography and Patrick from Patrick Pike Films. Thank you to all! Oh Yes Just a note I did all hair,make up and styling for the shoot. The shoes were supplied by Melanie the model who has the short wedding dress with a crazy graffiti train behind her! We won the magazine cover of 'Real Weddings Sacramento to the Sierras (black and white cover is winter2008 Lisa to far right)'. This shoot was fun and very long. Would you believe Lisa our model had very thin pretty short hair. I used all extensions to create all the looks. Lisa was a joy to work with as well as all the people from Sierra Style Publishing Sacramento. Sharpe Photography did fabulous work Thank you All! and Congrats Lisa.
