The second part of our Veils Upon the Sierra Trails series covers a wedding that takes place at two of our favorite venues, both located in the quaint town of Oakhurst, California.
The
Bellissimo Team met with the bride and her bridal party at the serene location of
The Queen's Inn. This 1950's site has been transformed into a delightful inn where guests can enjoy the soft murmur of the nearby river, bonfires by moonlight on their twinkling patio, and even a glass of sweet wine produced by the inn's very own winery. It's a wonderful place for quests, and bridal party alike, to wake to the big ahead.
For Jessica's look we wanted something soft and sultry for the make up which was perfectly complimented by a pumped up simple half up half down look that opened up her face to allow every touching moment to be seen by onlookers. The end result was a perfect combination for the ballgowned bride and her morning wedding.
The ceremony was held at the regal
Erna's Elderberry House located at the other end of town. This fairy tale inn is home to a five star restaurant and ten-bedroom Château. Everyone who enters these gates feels as though they have been transported to another worldly experience all of it's own. The talented
Patrick Pike was there to capture every moment with his creative eye for photography and unique spin on the traditional.
For the reception guests walked into romantic setting of glowing candle light and fall frosted hues decorated by the flower conscious bride herself. Even her flowers were anything but and instead porcelain blooms created by
DK Designs.
Once in their seats everyone was treated to a four course meal, created by the couple themselves, then brought to life by the skilled
Erna's Staff followed by a decadent fruit filled cake by
Sweet Dreams Cakery.
It was the perfect intimate event for the more sentimental bride.
